Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias (ITC), in collaboration with the Sociedad de Promoción Económica de Gran Canaria (SPEGC) —a public agency under the Cabildo de Gran Canaria— is launching, as part of the IDIWATER project, an acceleration programme aimed at fostering innovation and enhancing the technical competitiveness of companies in the water sector in the Canary Islands and West Africa.

From July 8 to 11, 2025, the Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias (ITC) took part in training and capacity-building activities within the European project SOL2H2O, held at the University of Évora (Portugal).

The visit of DANFOSS delegation to the Canary Islands Institute of Technology forms part of the public-private collaboration driven by the DESAL+ LIVING LAB, aimed at boosting innovation and the development of sustainable solutions for the water industry in the Canary Islands.

The IDIWATER project reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable development in Macaronesia, promoting cooperation, innovation, and the creation of synergies around water management as a strategic resource for the future of communities.
