Besides top specialists and researchers, our desalination-oriented testing facilities include variety scales of desalination plants, sea and brine water access, open-air land to demo, wind, solar and off-shore excellent conditions with research infrastructure and a specific regulated framework condition, water labs, field equipment, etc.
Multi-stakeholders cooperate in this Platform to promote and facilitate water desalination innovations and solutions driven by renewable energies and to increase R&D excellence and desalinated water-energy nexus knowledge.
Additionally to our co-create project activities, DESAL+ LIVING LAB provides the access to desalination infrastructure for testing and a range of research, technical and consultancy offerings along your R&D&i initiatives. From the Platform is offered:
- - Technical and logistic support for the installation and testing of prototypes and new devices focused on desalination, related fields and renewable energy desalination.
- - Technical support and consultancy for the development of projects of desalination technology, energy efficiency solutions and renewable energy integration to desalination.
- - Training activities, educational programs, researcher internship, knowledge and technology transfer.
