Multi-stakeholders cooperate in this Platform to promote and facilitate water desalination innovations and solutions driven by renewable energies and to increase R&D excellence and desalinated water-energy nexus knowledge. The DESAL+ LIVING LAB consists of different local research centers that make their resources and skills in desalination available to the platform, such as the Canary Islands Institute of Technology (ITC), the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), the University of La Laguna (ULL) and the regional research Agency (ACIISI). Together with them, the DESAL+ LIVING LAB is created with a series of local institutions and companies from the public-private sector which collaborate providing collaboration, resources and infrastructure
