Innovation-driven solutions for improving the technology and processes of the industrial water cycle (1/MAC/1/1.1/0022).

Public research centers and universities from the Canary Islands and Africa, leading companies in the comprehensive water cycle management, and public organizations with R&D+i policies and a focus on economic development in the water industry, are joining forces to enhance public-private cooperation and address common issues in the industrial water cycle through applied research.

IDIWATER will develop high-value-added smart solutions and products, support business creation through the transfer of results, and increase training with employability criteria, focusing efforts on creating innovative, useful, viable, and interesting solutions to be transferred and capitalized in the water industry and agriculture within the cooperation space, through shared resource use.

IDIWATER is committed to improving the water sector and its link with energy and agriculture within the cooperation space, through the shared use of resources and infrastructure, increasing R&D+i, knowledge transfer, training, and the development of smart technology (innovation-driven), all under the umbrella of the DESAL+ LIVING LAB platform, infrastructure created within the framework of the DESAL+ project (MAC/1.1a/094).
