The 2nd International Symposium on Innovations in Solar Desalination and Water Management (ISSD-WM 26) will be held on July 8–9, 2026, in Tangier, Morocco. Under the theme “Smart and Sustainable Water Systems: Innovation, Circular Economy, Climate Resilience and Peace,” the symposium aims to advance cutting-edge research and practical solutions addressing global water challenges.
ISSD-WM 26 brings together researchers, engineers, policymakers, industry leaders, and stakeholders to exchange knowledge on innovative desalination technologies, circular water systems, renewable energy integration, digital transformation, and climate-resilient infrastructure. The conference fosters interdisciplinary collaboration to promote sustainable water management, environmental protection, equitable access to water resources, and science-based water diplomacy.
The symposium is co-organized by the New Sciences and Engineering School (ENSI), Tangier, Morocco, the Polydisciplinary Faculty of Larache (FPL), Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Morocco, and the Mediterranean Association of Sciences and Sustainable Development (MEDI-ASD).
