Hosted by the Saudi Water Authority (SWA) and held under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture (MEWA) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this IDRA World Congress milestone edition reflects Saudi Arabia’s unparalleled role in shaping the future of water. The Kingdom is home to some of the world’s most ambitious desalination, reuse, conveyance, and renewable energy projects, delivering innovation at scale for over fifty years, and demonstrating how bold national vision can drive global impact.
The IDRA World Congress 2026 will span five days, featuring multiple tracks of parallel technical sessions, workshops, training programs, and high-level plenary discussions that showcase the latest advances in desalination, water reuse, and integrated water management.
